This design was basically the same as the XVII-G except the displacement and dimensions were slightly modified.
Length was increased from 127’ 9” to 131’ 9”;
Beam was increased slightly from 11’ 3” to 11’ 9”;
Draft was decreased from 15’ 6” to 14’ 6”;
Displacement was increased from 314 tons to 320 tons.
All other specifications remained the same. No TYPE XVII-G2 boats were built.
