Letters to the Editor

by the readers

MICHAEL BUCK (4313-1995) writes: ”The work SHARKHUNTERS is doing is fantastic! Thank you for all your efforts!”

BILL NARGAN (2904-1994) gave his copy of our KTB Magazine to a friend, and the friend wrote this letter: “A friend gave me 10 of your KTBs to read. I could not stop until I read all of them. You now have a new Member.” and with that, RALPH GEORGE (4978-1996) came aboard as a new Member.

When MAJOR LUCINDA WINGFIELD (4694-1996) came aboard, she wrote: “I read and re-read my first KTB Magazine, enjoying it completely.”

CELESTE RINELLA (SH 4770-1996) & (EH500-1996) writes: “I just wanted you to know that your WINTER CATALOG is amazing. I ordered the SHARKHUNTERS “T” shirt and I have to say it’s my favorite “T” shirt.”

We confer Honorary Membership to many submarine groups in many navies of the world. One of our new Members, ComSubGru 7 (5012-1996); RADM KONETZNI, wrote one of the nicest letters we have ever received here:

“I wish to thank you for your response and convey how much I really appreciate you taking my inputs to heart, and even more for the wonderful gift of the Honorary Membership to your fine Magazine. My staff, and those who follow will certainly appreciate this treasured gift.

I consider the mission of your organization to be a vital one, and being on the leading edge of operations with foreign submarine forces, I am convinced Submarine Group SEVEN has much to offer SHARKHUNTERS International. I am at your service, sir, and you may call upon me at any time.”

JOE REBER (SH 3430) writes: “You are doing an ultra-fantastic job in promoting understanding and good will. You can teach our Senators and Congressmen a thing or two. I really mean it when I say that SHARKHUNTERS earns & deserves a NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for your efforts and sincerity.”

JOHN CATALANO (SH 4701) writes: “Although I have been a Member for a relatively short period of time, I must write and express my thanks for the very interesting and fascinating facts contained in the KTB Magazine.”

DALE RITTER (SH 2336 A) writes: “Recently I renewed my Membership as an Admiral. I am, and have been, totally impressed by this organization. Keep up the good work!”

ART JACOBSON (SH 2154 A/LIFE) and (EH 30) writes: “Just got the latest KTB yesterday and, as always, stayed up WAY past my bedtime reading it!”

We see by his Membership Number that LARRY HAGENAH (SH 1232 C/LIFE) has been on board for many years. He’s read a great many issues of KTB Magazine, and makes this comment: “I am proud to be a Member of SHARKHUNTERS and I always look forward to getting the KTB. When I receive it, I don’t do anything until I’ve read through it - then I sit down as soon as possible later - and read it word for word. The KTB is a very fine and truthful publication, surpassed by none.”
