Skippers of U-141 include KL Heinz Otto Schultze (KNIGHTS CROSS) from 21 August 1940 who also commanded U-4, U-432 and U-849 where he was killed in action; OL Philipp Schüler from March 1941 until Nov. 1941, he also commanded U-602 where he was killed in action; KL Rauch who also commanded U-868; OL Günther Moller who also commanded U-844 where he was killed in action; OL Luttmann who also commanded U-3030; OL Jürgen Krüger who also commanded U-631 where he was killed in action; OL H. D. Hoffmann was the last Skipper of U-141. U-141 was assigned to the 1st U-BootFlotille while she served as a Frontboot (combat boat), then assigned to the 21st U-BootFlotille as a schulboot (school boat) for training on 1 October, 1941. U-141 had four feindfahrten (war patrols) in the North Atlantic before retiring to training duties. Sometime between 1947 and 1953, U-141 was raised and scrapped.
