On 18 June, 1996, one of the nicest ladies I have ever met, began her ‘ETERNAL PATROL’ THALITA ECK (663-+-1988) was the daughter of General Eck, and the sister of Kapitänleutnant Heinz Eck, Skipper of U-852.
I spent an entire day with THALITA in 1988, learning more and more about the British court that tried her brother Heinz. She gave us copies of the court documents, which are currently in our SHARKHUNTERS files.
A fine lady, THALITA ECK, on ‘ETERNAL PATROL’. She was 83 years of age. We know she is now united with her parents and her brother, whom she loved very much.
