The 5th U-BootFlotille was a ‘FrontFlotilla’, a combat flotilla based at Kiel until June of 1941, when it moved. Details are sketchy on the rest of the history of this Flotilla, but we will publish it when more becomes available.
The Flotillen-Chef (Flotilla Commander) was:
- K.K. Karl-Heinz Moehl from June, 1941 until the end;
with K.K. Hans Pauckstadt serving an interim term from September until November, 1942.
