DONALD O’BRIEN (3435-1994) lost a brother on a ship in the war while en route to Northern Africa, and he writes: “I wish to thank you once again for providing to me the information on the U-Boat that sunk my brother’s ship during WW II. My family and I remain in deep gratitude to SHARKHUNTERS for clearing up that mystery that our State Department could not or would not.”

BILL DUNN (1019-1989) writes: “As always, it is a pleasure to receive my KTB Magazine. It never fails to be fascinating reading.”

When PETER DENNISTON (4585-1996) joined, he sent this letter: “I must say I am very impressed with the quality of information and the actual accounts from the people who were there. I am a totally happy customer!”

R. K. HALVORSON writes: “I would like to compliment you on the volume of interesting information you come up with for each issue. I was an Army helicopter pilot during our Second Place effort in the Southeast Asian War Games and subscribed only to get the information on the submarines my father rode in WW II. I now really look forward to the KTB Magazines. Keep up the good work!”

JIM TAYLOR (4158-1995) joined about a year ago and when he was on board a few months, he wrote the following: “I have recently received my first few KTB Magazines from SHARKHUNTERS and I am still reeling! I had no idea that such an authoritative publication on submarines and U-Boats even existed. This is a magazine that I am very proud and fortunate to subscribe to.”

We received a letter from former Special Forces (GREEN BERET) Major LOU MARI (536-1988) and he writes: “I trust your thoughts and ideas more than many contemporary ‘historians’. I have to deal with so-called ‘military historians’ every day - ‘CLOWN CITY!’ What you are doing for the cause of truth is far more important.”

MELVIN PORETZ (3031-1993) recently wrote: “The last KTB was so loaded that it could have been called a double issue, giving you (HARRY) a free month to drop a line off the nearest dock.”

HARRY’S NOTE - Thanks for your kind words MEL, but I am normally in the office at least 12 hours each day, usually more like 15 or 16. Fishing is a luxury I’ll have to skip for a while.

‘BUD’ VEATH (1711-1990) recently wrote: “The KTB gets more interesting with each issue and I’m always looking forward to the next one. I receive a lot of other veterans magazines, but SHARKHUNTERS is tops.”

CAPTAIN MICHAEL LANDADIO (3291-1993) writes: "Since I joined SHARKHUNTERS in 1993, I have thoroughly enjoyed every KTB from cover to cover. I especially enjoy the firsthand accounts from those who actually participated in these actions. They fill in the holes left by the numerous books that have been written about the war."
