More than 100 German U-Boats were scuttled by the British after the end of World War II in Operation ‘DEADLIGHT’ off the NW coast of Ireland. Exactly where were they sunk? NORMAN FIELD (4642-1996) tells us the following:

U-485VII-CSunk 8 Dec, 1945 at 56.10N x 10.05W by unknown causes.
U-637VII-CFoundered in tow and sank on 21 Dec., 1945 at 55.35N x 07.46W.
U-668VII-CSunk 31 Dec 1945 at 56.03N x 09.24 W by unknown causes.
U-716VII-CSunk 11 Dec, 1945 at 55.50N x 10.05W as air target.
U-720VII-CSunk 21 Dec, 1945 at 56.04N x 09.35W by naval gunfire.
U-739VII-CSunk 16 Dec, 1945 at 55.50N x 10.05W as aerial target.
