ME-262 Engines

In Britain

by Charles Everett

CHARLES EVERETT (2187-1992) reports that the British have unearthed some Daimler-Benz engines still in their crates at an old aerodrome in England. The engines were brought to England after the war for research and testing. When that was finished, they were buried in a big hole and forgotten.

Rumor has it there might also be an Me 262 engine in the lot. CHARLES heard that the going price might be $250,000 up to $500,000 PER ENGINE due to their good condition!

Being a good ‘INTEL’ agent, CHARLES is quick to point out that he has not been able to confirm this rumor with a second source. More details when they are available.
