This is a truly momentous occasion, as our SHARKHUNTERS turns the corner into yet another year bringing forth the honest history of the German U-BootWaffe as well as submarine services of other countries. In short, that means that this is the 13th ANNIVERSARY of SHARKHUNTERS! With the month of February, 1997 we begin our 14th year.

When SHARKHUNTERS was ‘born’ in February of 1983, there were a total of only FIVE Members in TWO countries! Today, there are almost 4,800 Members in 55 countries.

Thanks to all the veterans of the Submarine Services who have shared their wartime memories with us to make our KTB Magazine more and more interesting - and to keep honest history alive. Thanks also to all our Members who have helped us grow to be not only the World’s ONLY Multi-National Submarine History Group - but also a major voice in world history itself. Many thanks to you all, and here’s to more great years of SHARKHUNTERSHIP!
