We read an interesting clip in the newsletter of the B-17 COMBAT CREWMEN & WINGMEN (EH150-1994) - it reads:
"According to a Sept. 3 Associated Press report, President Bill Clinton said this before a group of veterans and dignitaries observing VJ Day in Honolulu, Hawaii. ‘Fifty years ago today, on the deck of the aircraft carrier MISSOURI anchored in Tokyo Bay, freedom finally prevailed.’
There is really nothing more to say . . .
