Jan. 1941 (exact date unknown) the Italian submarine NEGHELLI was lost to unknown causes somewhere in the Agean Sea.
6 March 1941, the Italian submarine ANFITRITE was sunk by HMS GREYHOUND at 34.55N x 26.43E.
31 March 1941 the Italian submarine PIER CAPPONI (above) was sunk by the RN submarine HMS RORQUAL (below) at 38.32N x 15.15E
