Sharkhunters

10 and 5 Years Ago

by Harry Cooper

10 YEARS AGO in our KTB

In KTB #16 I had the terribly sad occasion to announce the death of my 20-year-old son, Harry Junior. He was my only child (at that time) and I had raised him myself from the time he was an infant.

5 YEARS AGO in our KTB

In KTB #62, we debunked again, a story run by the Ft. Lauderdale SUN-SENTINEL wherein that paper reported a German U-Boat sunk off their coast; we saw photos of our COFFEE Meeting in Ft. Lauderdale; we reported that USS DRAGONET (SS 293) was located by one of our SHARKHUNTERS Members; we requested information from any Member regarding the magnetic 'TESLA' drive; we reported that USS BLENNY (SS 324) was being sunk as an artificial reef off the east coast of the USA; we reported on a guy in Wisconsin who sells beer steins that he claims once belonged to combat veterans of the German military....they are NOT genuine.....they are not reproductions because nothing like these beer steins ever existed in WW II Germany.....they are only FANTASY items but for a huge price! We reported a bit on how UC-97 was sunk in Lake Michigan off Chicago and we reported the death of Chief Ralph Adams, the crewman from USS FINBACK (SS 230) who fished USNAVY pilot George Bush out of the drink.
