Gallery Owner Jailed
Over Forged Autographs

Tom Shutt

by Harry Cooper

Members are aware that Tom Shutt, owner of King's Crown Gallery in southern California, was arrested on charges that he forged autographs of various German war personalities. He reached a plea agreement and served five days in Jail, and is on Probation. We published this story as it was taking place, and we gave the name, telephone number and address of the detective who was handling the case with the suggestion that anyone who had dealings with Tom Shutt that he considered questionable, should contact this police detective. We also said that we would send a copy of the plea agreement to any Member who requested it; as it has Shutt's home address. Just send a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your request.

Quite a few Members have requested this court document, and many have contacted Detective Finney with their own complaints against Tom Shutt and/or King's Crown Gallery - either when it was in southern California or previous to that, in Kansas City.
