by Col. William Hohn
COL. WILHELM HOHN (789-1988) came across a medal mounted on marble from WW I depicting these two boats. Across the top is the inscription “Der Helden...Der Adria” which means the Heroes of the Adriatic. Can anyone give us an idea why it was made, when it was made - any information at all, and we’ll pass it on to BILL. Thanks in advance.
