ALBERT ECKERT (3120-1993) was ein U-Bootfahrer and he writes: "The memories from WERNER KREYMANN (1907-1991) are an excellent description of the events in the Baltic Sea in 1945, which I enjoyed very much. Thanks for printing them."

ED LAPOTSKI (1788-1991) calls SHARKHUNTERS: "...one of the finest organizations a naval history buff could ever hope to be part of."

AARON HAMILTON (3465-1994) writes: "I have received my second issue of the KTB and wish to express my sincere appreciation for the quality of history it contains. As I said in my last letter I will be going back to school in the fall to pursue a Masters in Military History, and I will undoubtedly rely on information contained in our Magazine for research material."

In KTB #107 we read that HORST-EBERHARD von HORSTIG (new Member) had tried, without success, to arrange a visit to a US NAVY base and a visit aboard an American nuclear FAST-ATTACK submarine.

With the help of ADMIRAL FRANK KELSO (2919-1993) and ComSubLant, RADM GEORGE EMERY (1033-1989), HORST was welcomed at Norfolk and visited aboard a 'NUKEY' boat there. He writes: "I would like to thank you so much for your generous assistance in realizing my ambitious desire. I am well aware that I owe my success to you personally as the powerful President of SHARKHUNTERS INTERNATIONAL and I am elated to become a Member of your brilliant organization."

STEVEN SOLARZ (3275-1993) writes: "I am very pleased to be part of such a wonderful organization. I have been interested in submarines, especially U-Boats, all of my life and now actually belonging to an organization that shares my interests, I may once again enjoy that interest."

RADM DAVID M. GOEBEL (3320-1993) writes: “I would like to thank you for the Membership in SHARKHUNTERS. I am delighted in the prospects of being involved in an organization dedicated to preserving facts concerning submarines in WW II.”

ERNST ZUNDEL (956-1989) writes: “Again thank you - you are one of the most interesting guests we have ever had on our show.”

WALTER J. BOYNE (2682-1993) is a writer (his latest book is ‘CLASH OF TITANS’) and he says: “Congratulations on SHARKHUNTERS, which goes from strength to strength.”

JOHN F. FLOBERG (3634-1994) was Undersecretary of the NAVY after WW II, and it thanks in large part, to JOHN that U-505 was not sent to the SHARKHUNTERS breaker’s yard for scrap. JOHN writes: “I accept with pleasure Membership in SHARKHUNTERS!”

BOB BISHOP (3523-1994) rode S-37 when they sank the first I.J.N. ‘TIN CAN’ of the War, and he has a brief comment about our KTB Magazine. He writes: “KTB = Good publication.”

STEPHEN POWELL (1414-1990) writes: “After getting my brother to join SHARKHUNTERS last year, I have decided to give my dad a subscription, a submariner of thirty years and a graduate of the Naval Academy. MIKE and I have been talking about an early Christmas gift for Dad, and we think a subscription would be perfect.”

DAVID ‘JOHN’ HOLLAND (3298-1993) writes: “It is a real pleasure to become a new Member of SHARKHUNTERS! I come from a long line of old Navy men from the sailing ship days. One of our old family members is said to have designed the first US NAVY submarine back around the turn of the century. We are proud of him and of you for helping preserve tradition and history.”
