Letters to the Editor

by the readers

EDWARD LAPOTSKY (1788-1991) missed a few issues, and he writes: "I am once again receiving the finest magazine on submarine history and want to thank you personally."

CHAD CARTER (3510-1994) just joined EAGLEHUNTERS, and he writes: "I would like to sign up for EAGLEHUNTERS. If it is half as good as SHARKHUNTERS then it will be fantastic.

PETER RAUSCH (2545-1993) writes: "Received the KRETSCHMER/TOPP autographed print with the interesting authentication certificate. They are both proud additions to my collection of signed prints, photographs and correspondence from prominent World War historical figures. I also appreciate the audio tape of U-Boat songs as a re-enlistment bonus.

The KTB makes great reading, and provides some historical details not available anywhere else. My compliments."

Lars Sunn Pedersen is not yet a Member, but he and his partner, Age Jensen, plan to join as soon as they receive their information packet. In his FAX, Lars writes: "Having studied some of your Magazines, me and my partner should be pleased to join SHARKHUNTERS."

If you don't recognize the names, these are the leaders of the group who recently raised U-534. NEVILLE BAKER (3200-1993) was the bombardier of the RAF B-24 that sank U-534, and he recently travelled back to the boat and at the suggestion of JOHN HANKINS (1979-1991), took some back issues of our KTB Magazine with him. Many thanks to NEVILLE and JOHN for taking this extra step to bring more Members aboard - and adding one more country to which our KTB Magazine goes each month.

JOHN is about to release a new book and we will let you know when it is available. Lars and Age are working on a film from a wreck with TYPE NEGER one-man submarines on board, still in their lorries.
