29 August, 1942.....
Ro-33 under Kplt Shigeshi Kuriyama was sunk by HMAS ARUNTA at 09.36S x 147.06E.

31 August, 1942.....
Ro-61 under Oblt T. Tokutomi was sunk by aircraft of VP-42 & VP-43; also USS REID (DD 369) at 52.36N x 173.57W.

28 September, 1942 (poss. 4 November, 1942)....
Ro-65 under Egi foundered while submerged during USAAF air attack in Kiska Harbor.
