One of our good SHARKHUNTERS Members and his wife, wish to live their last years in the United States. He was a U-bootfahrer and they lived all their lives in their native Germany, but they fell in love with the USA and Florida specifically, and they want to move here. They are honorable people, have their own money, will pay their taxes and will not be a burden on the American Government - I guess that is why they are having such a difficult time getting permission to live here.

They have been told that, as Germans, they cannot live in the USA on a permanent basis. To me, this seems absolutely idiotic since our Government has thrown the door open wide, more than wide, for people of other lands who have terrible diseases, have no money and will be a big drain on the resources of the USA yet our friends who are decent people and who will support not drain our system, are told they cannot live in the USA because Europeans are not currently allowed to immigrate.
