Daughter's Birthday

May 15, 1992 was my daughter's first birthday. I was not home, as I was in Germany at the 30th International Submariner's Convention at the kind invitation of our friends of the German U-Boat Association. Not only did I miss her first birthday, I failed to mention her birthday in our SHARKHUNTERS HAPPY BIRTHDAY section.

May 15, 1993 was her second birthday - I was not home for that either. At the kind invitation of our friends of the ROYAL NAVY Submarine Association, I was in Portsmouth, England for the 31st International Submariner's Convention. Again, I not only missed her birthday, but I also failed to list her birthday in our KTB Magazine. Both times, I got in trouble at home for this oversight.

I will not make either mistake again - I am home for her third birthday and am making special mention here that 15 May is the birthday of my daughter, MEAGHAN MARY KATHLEEN COOPER (1/4-1991).
