In January of 1982, a friend told me about Dungeons and Dragons. I didn't quite get it. "Here," he said, "It's like this." I looked down at the book that he had handed me: "The Hobbit" by J.R.R. Tolkien. The week during and after school, I read The Hobbit. When Friday rolled around, me and my friend raced to I game shop to buy our first set of dice and some player- character record sheets. I hope you'll join me and Troll Lord Games in the quest.
