DBA is selling very well. Paul is gnashing his teeth at putting so many single copies into envelopes and only getting $4.00 turnover on each.

The "Fantasy" variant 'Hordes of the Things' is well into testing, and four horse and musket versions are coming behind.

Terry, you will be able to run your Arthurians an a Hordes' fantasy army. (Wait a minute, Phil, in that a out what... I hope Gary Gedding doesn't see this! - Ed)

POSITION 1: Unit A and B have charged each other impetuously and are in melee. A wins and B must recoil. A follows up, expanding as it does and contacts unit C. Does C count as a converted charge?

    PHIL- YES!

Does A count +2 impetuous vrs. C?

    PHIL- YES.

Unit A in in ambush (hidden). Enemy unit C march moves within 1" of A, necessitating it being placed on the table. Unit B, also march moving, in within 120 paces of woods edge and A is within 1/2" of woods edge on eitherflank. In unit B pinned?

    PHIL- NO- IT IS NOT WITHIN 40 paces OF A, SO DOES NOT KNOW ABOUT THEM.

Unit A, LC, has counter-charged Norman HC wedge unit B. 4" from table-edge. Unit B wins, the LC must break-off and rolls short, carrying them off the table. Does B have to pursue them off the table an well, assuming they roll normal and can't avoid it?

    PHIL- YES!

Skirmisher unit A evades from an enemy charge. It has friendly units to its rear, B and C. Does A end up behind B? Even though exceeding allowable evade move? Or does it end up split an in diagram?

    PHIL- UNITS CANNOT SPLIT. THE ENEMY CHARGE CAN REACH B AND A'S REAR EDGE PASSES B'S FRONT EDGE, THEN WHOLE OF A BEHIND B. IF ENEMY CAN'T REACH SAME FOR C. IF BACK EDGE DOES NOT PASS FRONT EDGE., EVADERS CAUGHT SO LEAVE IN FRONT.

Unit A hits B in the back. Unit A's friend, unit C is paces in front of unit B. The resultant melee forces B recoil. Does it recoil into unit C, or become disordered?

    PHIL- IF C IS NOT LIGHT TROOPS, B BOTH RECOILS PACES AND IS DISORDERED!

Define a minor water feature's "series of reversing waves" (Pg. 13). Would you limit each curve to less than 45 degrees?

    IT'S A FIDDLE BY INTENTION, SO JUMP ON HIM! IT MUST BE POSSIBLE TO FIT AN ELEMENT FACING IN ANY DIRECTION INSIDE THE LOOP.
