Historicon 2003 Plans

Saga Staff

By Terry Gore

It's not too early to look ahead to Historicon in July. I've contacted HMGS to get the Limerock Room again for our SAGA events. Here is the proposed itinerary so far:

Thursday

We need events for all day Thursday and Thursday evening. There is a possibility Bruce will put on a Napoleonic Warfare game, Paul and I doing a Victorian Warfare game and Mitch premiering his World War I warfare rules Thursday night if there is room, but if others want to put on demos, let me know and we'll accomodate you first. At this point in time, we are open to any and all proposals.

Friday

The 25mm AW and 15mm MW tournaments in Lampeter will take the morning and afternoon. Those who plan on playing let me know asap as we have to arrange the table spacing and NASAMW needs an idea of how many we require.

Those of you who are not planning on playing in the tournaments might like to get their proposed events in as we have all three tables in Limerock empty in the morning and afternoon. The sooner I can get started on figuring out a schedule to fit everyone into Limerock, where our events can be left up (when doing multiple demos on the same day or carrying over from the evening to the next day), the better.

Saturday

Again, we are wide open here. We plan on running Napoleonic Warfare, Victorian Warfare and World War I demos, but again will move our own times around to accommodate others. Saturday night, we would like to have a Big Battle game of some kind if interest is there.

For those of you planning on putting on demo game, please let me know what events you would like to run, the length of time and number of players.
