It is almost time for Christmas and many of us are reflecting on the many changes we have been witness to in this year of 2001. The war against terrorism will continue for a long time. This means that a number of our group members and SAGA subscribers will be separated from their loved ones this holiday season. As a way of saying thanks for making the sacrifices necessary to defend our freedoms and way of life, I would like to send out this issue of SAGA to any of our fighting men and women in uniform. Please contact me with particulars, either an email or FOB address of anyone you think would like a copy of SAGA.

There has been some movement on the Foundry front as of late. We are once again in the Foundry production schedule after a hiatus due to their internal reorganization. I would still not expect to see the Foundry edition of MW until later in 2002.

For our overseas subscribers, I an now offering SAGA as an email only subscription. This will cost $12.00 per year instead of the current $35.00. The mailing costs have become unbelievable as of late, so this is one way I can cut out some heavy expense.

As we head toward Cold Wars in April, the MW rules will once more be the featured system for the tournaments and demos. The 25mm tournament on Saturday will feature 525 point MW armies in two rounds of three hours each. This worked great at Fall In, with very little in the way of tournament burn-out.
