Comments from the Press Gang

By Jamie Fish

Over the years Terry has talked me into a lot of stupid things, especially all night drinking bouts when he could sleep in lhe next day and I had to be back at the booth fresh and cheery at 8:00 A.M.. But even for me, I must of been in an extraordinarily brain dead state to let him impress me into his press gang. So in case any of you are wondering why this issue of SAGA is a bit later than normal it is my fault: 95 percent of this issue was either retyped or scanned [which is almost as bad as retyping. We are trying a new format as well so comments are welcomed.

Terry has told me that I must be nice as there is only room for one acid pen. So I will make the next request politely. HEY GUYS, PLEASE proofread your articles. If you own a computer, please send a hard copy and a disk with the article. I am using WordPerfect 6.0a with all margins set at half an inch. Justification is set at full and the text is being run in two columns. So the drill, if you can, is write the article, try and use the above mentioned settings, proof your alticle and SPELL cbeck it. Otherwise you are at my tender mercies.

Now to try and make up for the above and to try and help recruit NEW readers I am making the following offer. I am willing to contribute 10% of all orders of Thistle and the Rose Miniatures over $50.00 towards your subscription to SAGA. Granted it isn't a barnburner special but it is something. So go get your buddies and get them to join.
