Assault on Troy presented by Paul Dobbins. Trojan War scenario for Terry Gore's Ancient Warfare. The Greeks have gained the upper hand on the Trojan plain. Hektor wisely avoids meeting Achilles in open combat; the Trojans are content to sit behind the walls of Troy. The Greeks decide to force the issue by launching a full scale assault on the city. The Trojan fortifications are impressive surrounding the citadel Pergamos, but the lower city is vulnerable, where it is possible to scale the walls in several places. Achilles and company will settle the matter by brute force.

presented by Jeff Ball and Bruce Taylor. Scale: The Scourge of God vs. the Last of the Romans - Chalons 451A.D. presented by Doug Marston. Attila, "the Scourge of God," had ridden with his Huns through northern Gaul, subjugating or destroying the native tribes. Aetius, the Consul General of Rome, hurriedly put together a coalition of various tribes, foederati and what loyal Roman troops he could gathers. The clash at Châlons was one of those rare monumental conflicts, pitting against one another two of the towering figures of Late Antiquity, the fierce and passionate Attila and the noble Aetius, sometimes called "the last of the Romans." Thus began one of the Western world's greatest and most decisive battles.

Cynoscephalae 197 BC presented by Paul Dobbins. Big battle scenario for Terry Gore's Ancient Warfare. The first major confrontation between the vaunted phalanx of Makedon and the legions of Rome, the upstart and rising power of the West, was fought in the nightmare terrain of the "Dog’s Head." The consular army of Titus Quinctius Flamininus, with its Aetolian League allies, fought a meeting engagement with Phillip V’s pikemen. Although the Romans won a significant victory, the battle very nearly went the other way before an enterprising tribune led a flank attack on the Makedonian right wing to save the day. Several experienced Ancient Warfare gamers will be on hand to play and provide guidance, but the game is open to four players with any level of AW/MW experience. We'll see how it goes this time - we'll provide the elephants, pikes and pila, if you’ll provide the enterprise!
Scale: *These games are being played in Distlefink. We are also having three tournaments:
