News and Notes

By Wally Simon

Tom Keller is a subscriber to the REVIEW, and in a recent letter, asked me to print an advertisement for a play-by-mail naval campaign his group is running.

He would like to enlist a number of players to act as "Senior Commanders" to run operations in the Atlantic, Mediterranean, etc., while Tom and company play out the resulting naval encounters at their club's meetings.

He'd use varying sets of rules; ATLANTIC RAIDER, BISMARK, ARTIC CONVOY... whatever suits the situation.

2. It's getting late in the year, and about time for our yearly flea-market. In truth, I had wanted to hold the event at the September meeting, but completely forgot to advertise it in past REVIEWS. Ergo, the PW flea-marker will be held at our October meeting... Friday, October 20, 1995.

Tables are free; the club merely asks for 10 percent of whatever dollar volume you sell. As I said before, no one will keep records of what you sell... we rely solely on the integrity, the honor, the truthfulness, the honesty, the trustworthiness, the inherent goodness, etc., etc., for which all wargamers are reknowned.
