Mercenaries: In the course of the campaign, players will accumulate points which can be used either to hire mercenaries, or to improve the arms and armor of existing troops. These points will come as taxes from one's own towns and from plundering enemy towns. Mercenaries range from pike-carrying knights to dragons, if you can afford them. Plundering: This is the straightforward system in which each town is worth a certain number of points based on its size and defences. Hidden movement: This is a marginally revolutionary system (well, maybe not revolutionary... ) in which the bases, or imitation bases, are put out on the field before the figures are, and after the ref says they are in long sight range.
