Remaining on the subject of desktop published games, I managed to play the above title recently. I was most impressed. The game works well in trying to simulate the Spanish Civil War, and the numerous foibles thereof . In particular, the system for handling international politics (i.e. the involvement of major powers in supporting the factions concerned), meshes extremely well with the control of regions and the fighting on the ground.
