Mobelry Rocked By Several Explosions

Terror filled the night as several explosions occurred. Around 9:30PM the Moberly Bank was heavily damaged by a dynamite explosion. Records and valuables stored at the site were heavily damaged. Customers can expect reimbursement as banker Elijah Stodington says "all assets are insured and covered in full". Customers can meet with E.S. at the telegraph office and have transactions completed to their satisfaction. Incredibly nothing is missing just damaged by fire and scattered to the night wind by the force of the explosion.

A second mysterious explosion damaged the Blue Herron Restaurant. Minutes after the Bank was hit a second and related explosion caused a severe fire at the town's favorite nightspot. Customers were fortunately outside in the main street assessing the damage to the bank when the restaurant was consumed by fire. Sheriff Smith says there were two fatalities.

Herman Wiijcox and his wife Helga were killed as the Blue Herron restaurant was consumed by fire. Pinkerton Agents notified to investigate.

The perpetrators detained several employees. Two busboys were later found tied up near the railroad cut that is on the north edge of town. The boys are back with their families and were found roughed up but in okay condition.

Sheriff Smith has interviewed the boys about possible identification of the criminals.

The preceding documents and accounts are a fictional storyline that is transpiring within the Lion's Den Wargames Club Western Gunfight Scenarios. Members of the game are portraying outlaws during Missouri 1870's. All games have cause and effect on the next session's activities. This campaign has been played for nearly two years now.
