By Lion's Den Wargamers

The schedule is the 12 team three division printed on the reverse of this page.

The method of scoring for this league is as follows:

  • Quarterbacks: 3 points for every TD pass or TD scored. 1 point for every 30 yards, passing and rushing. -2 points for every interception.
  • Running Backs, Wide Receivers and Tight Ends: 3 points for every TD. 1 point for every 10 yards, rushing and receiving.
  • Kickers: 4 points for every field goal of 50 yards or more. 3 points for every field goal of 40-49 yards. 2 points for every field goal of 39 yards or less. -1 point for every missed field goal.
  • Defense: 5 points for a shutout. 3 points for every touchdown. 2 points for every safety. 1 point for every interception. -5 points for allowing 35 points or more.

Scoring notes: Yardage totals should be rounded down. If a running back totals 99 yards, he gets 9 points. Do not count special-teams touchdowns and yardage.

This is a great opportunity for a Wargames club to participate in something that is historical, sports related and has an element of gaming and generalship akin to pushing toy soldiers on a green felt. The only other sports related game that is this much fun for our club is the annual Electra-bowl in January.
