Lone Warrior is the magazine of the SWA and is published quarterly. It is produced by amateur wargamers for wargamers and comprises of articles on solo wargaming, campaigning, letters and comments, reviews and general hobby news of interest to members.

The scope of Lone Warrior embraces all aspects of the hobby from tips to beginners on soloing, to how to run a full scale solo campaign. Services provided by the SWA for members: Play by Mail. list of current and future games plus tips on how to PBM. SWA Library, is probably the biggest free loan wargaming library in the World! SWA advisers are available to members. These volunteers will help with any information on a period involved with gaming. The SWA produces a beginners Pack, which is full of tips, hints, rules and ideas on solo wargaming, which is only available to members, Membership is by annual subscriptior with the SWA year running from JunE to June.
