Jared Haworth, young son of Jon Haworth, was in attendance at Call to Arms '96. Jared is a 6 year old Lion's Den member who studies Tae Kwon Do. Drawing on his martial arts skill and agility, Jared saved the HATSOFF Vexillium as it came crashing down to the floor. HATSOFF members were impressed with the young lads speed and focus as he saved the banner from touching the ground. "It was like those movies where you see a martial artist catch an arrow shot at them ... He was so quick and steady ... He saved our standard." Greg Nichols awarded Jared a HATSOFF membership button and welcomed him as a member of their club, with all rights and privileges thereof. It was certainly one of those "moments" you remember from a crowded convention weekend.
