I begin this editorial with a sense of renewed commitment and excitement toward my home club's wargaming journal. The Penny Whistle Journal is now my sole literary platform for sharing the hobby that we all enjoy so much. I transfer my responsibility from a newsletter that I enjoyed working on for two years. I am proud to say I was the editor of the HAHMGS Communique from April of 1994 to April of 1996 and produced issues #37 to #47. It was never dull. I learned something new with each issue. I am pleased with the contribution I made to HMGS. I am especially grateful to all of the readers who contributed to make my tenure easier and very interesting. The most satisfying aspect of working on a newsletter is meeting and making friends in distant cities and countries. Thank you all.
