The Timoin of Arveta are a fair folk. They love to merrily eat and drink, and to happily celebrate each day that arrives. They also have the best acceptance among men (or Big People as they call us) of all the human-like peoples that inhabit the continent.
There are four major groups: The Hillsboro band of the Toridarian South Maple Forest, the Fairgreen band of Dondor's Mount Majesty, the Sea Briar band of the South Dondor Mountains, and the Misti Band of the Far Eastern Plain of Deep Grass.
The most famous are the Fairgreen, whose honesty and hard 'work earned them most of the servant positions in the Old Kingdom Torontair Court of the Castle of Dondor. The Sea Briar band is noted for it's fine fishing boats. The Hillsboro clan is credited for starting the idea of a Senate -- a ruling body with elected members -- which the first Torontair established. Not much is known about the Far Eastern Tribe.
Timoin are not much on adventuring. It usually takes quite an unusual event to send one off on a race or to war. But as you know, there is much to a Timoin that is not apparent, that is to those who only look on the outside...
