Tato hurried to join the procession. "I had best help Rollvag. Sooner or later the two of them will drive him crazy and he'll take off after them through the woods with sword in hand. With a dancing fairy in front of him, he's likely to try to go through the trees instead of around them." With that thought and a laugh, Tato disappeared towards the pegasi, following the sound of the lyrical taunts. Cher quickly crossed over to Elkin and asked, "Why did Rollvag attack Tato that way?" "Oh, it was no attack. In fact, in his own, ah, style, he asked Tato a question that is likely to stick with our future Torontair for the rest of his life." "How so?" "There were as many meanings in his question as there are colors in a rainbow. Coming from a comrade in arms, the question took on additional shadings. It had to do with intention and honor, vision and trust, wisdom and discipline." "And the response?" interrupted Cher. "Answered the question directly; for now, and forever. The answer was a question, which is the only answer." "You are starting to sound like Finnie and Flippie." "Words are so important, whether you a Torontair or a plebeian. It was the words and the way they were said that let Rollvag and Tato forge an unspoken bond. Frankly, Rollvag surprised me. I had not though him so agile a spokesman."
