Pakistan Artillery: 1700
Infantry Divisions: 20

Independent Infantry Brigades: 6
Independent Armoured Brigades: 6
Artillery Brigades: 9
Armoured Recon Regiments: 1
Engineer Brigades: 7
Air Defence Brigades: 8
Special Services Group Commondos: Brigades: 1 which comprises of 3 Battalions and 1 Independent Counter-Terrorism Company.

Pakistan Army's Main Battle Tanks includes Chinese, American and Pakistani Equipments.

    Chinese: 200 T85 II AP's, 250 T-69s, 51 T-55s, 1200 T-59S, T-60/80s being produced at Pakistan Defence factories at HMC Taxilla.
    American: 450 M-47/48s of which most are being currently withdrawn.
    Pakistan: Work continues on the new Pakistan Made MBT-2000 Al-Khalid Tank.

Armoured Personnel carriers include 820 M113s, 120 BTR 70s. M113s are being manufactured at HMC Taxilla.

Artillery Pieces include 1,566 towed and 240 Self-Propelled artillery pieces.
There are 105mm, 150mm and 255mm American made aritelly guns. These contain both Self-Propelled and Towed Howitzers. Also there are Chinese made 85mm and 122mm guns.

Pakistan Army Aviation consists of 20 AH-1 COBRA Gunships, Mi-8s, Mi-17s, UH-1s, Bell-47, Cassena O-1Es, and French Alloute III's.

Pakistan Army Air Defence consists of 2000 AA Guns ZU-23/33 30, 36, 37mm, SAMs CROTALE's, 400 RBS-20, SAM-7, 350 Stingers and Redeyes, and 500 Anza mk.

Pakistan's Paramilitary Organizations

National Guard: 185,000 members called the Janbaz Force, plus the National Cadet Corps and the Women's Guard. The Women's guard mostly performs medical and nursing duties.

There are also the Pakistan Rangers, who are charged with Pakistan's internal security and the Coast Guard, which takes care of the coastal security.
