From: Tim Crow I wanted to let you know that I was very pleased with Sun of Austerlitz. It truly is a wonderful production--the quality really shines through. My very hearty congratulations and well-done! From: Daniel Smuts Thank you very much for your answers. As always you are most helpful. And a great game designer to boot. Highway to the Kremlin is a stunner!!! From: Peter Henrik Rasmussen I just want to inform you of how we are trying to "spread the word" here in Denmark: We have started a Napoleon Association, with different purposes: Making different publications, hitting a lot of 200-years anniversaries "Battlefield Tours" during the next 12 years (the long term goal!), and the like. We finally got a webpage up and running, but it is to be expanded and translated before it really rocks! Our domestic goal is to get some sort of reenactment on 29.august 1807, the day of the "Battle of Kiöge", which resulted in the destruction of the 8000-man Danish militia, after which the british (led by Wellesley!) where able to commence with the bombardment of Copenhagen 2.-5.september, and the following theft of our once so proud fleet! As the events where a result of The Peace at Tilsit, it has been quite interesting to study this small part of the age of Napoleon, specially afterour Kaliningrad journey. We hope to translate our publication on the Kiöge battle as the first thing, but if you want to the layout you will find it under "publikationer" ("publications"); it is a brochure which we have now placed at some relevant museums. Our upcoming study will be of the spanish troops stationed here in 1808 under French command, a short time before "the spanish ulcer" broke out! So far the webpage is only in Danish, but as soon as time allows it will be expanded and translated to French (our "president" is half French) and English. The page will be translated in the near future and we hope that people will return to the page, and not just discard it due to the present language! But there are a few pictures from foggy days in Kaliningrad you might like to see: The webpage is http://www.grognard.dk Choose "battlefieldtour" scroll down to "August 2002" and chose "billeder" ("pictures"). Enjoy the pictures! From: Jay Olsen In Heaven, Alexander the Great, Frederick the Great and Napoleon are looking down on events in Iraq. Alexander says, "Wow, if I had just one of Bush's armored divisions, I would definitely have conquered India." Frederick the Great states, "Surely if I only had a few squadrons of Bush's air force I would have won the Seven Years War in a matter of weeks." There is a long pause as three continue to watch events. Then Napoleon speaks, "If I had had Fox News, no one would have known I lost the Russian campaign."
