WEBSITE SNAFU

Mark Edwards, who has been OSG's web admin, has left us. He will work with Jeff Trudell, our new admin, to retrieve the website from a most uncomfortable situation. The order forms don't work, Sun of Austerlitz is still listed as a pre-pub, and the mirror site http://207.114.6.201 which is up-to-date needs to be registered. We hope to get this done over the July 4th weekend.

WARGAME DESIGN PUBLISHES

Issue Nr. 7 finally hit the press! We printed a few extra copies, so now would be a good time to subscribe! It's published irregularly, but under our new editor Mike Welker you'll find interesting ideas about game design that are being thought about nowhere else. In Issue 7, the lead article, "Napoleonic Operations from Castiglione to Waterloo," by Zucker, is very in-depth at 9 and one half pages. In addition, the 24-page issue includes a Scenario for Bonaparte in Italy on the Mincio battles of May-June 1796; Work in Progress on the Pre-Advanced Games; Design Focus on Sun of Austerlitz examining Kutusov's Approach March in September 1805; History as I Remember It (on the Campaigns of Napoleon Series); Player's Notes on The Information War (on the use of vedettes); Historical Notes for Sun of Austerlitz Scenarios; plus our regular features.
