Back as far as last June, we processed a number of Sun of Austerlitz charges for the purpose of starting the graphic production on the game's map. At that time we were not anticipating the delays we'd be encountering! If you were among those whom we charged last year, please accept our thanks for your help in making Sun of Austerlitz a reality. But 250 pre-orders at $29 and up will only get us part of the way home. As we accrue manufacturing costs on Sun of Austerlitz, we are reminded of the fact that the long delays in publishing the game resulted in a year without a new OSG release. That takes a bite out of our cash flow when you realize that a new release brings more income than the entire backlist combined. In addition, we have seen printing costs rise substantially since our last game. Art and printing will total $14,000, partly because of higher art and production values for this game. Sun of Austerlitz - originally priced at $36 - now has to be a $46 game. Operational Studies Group produces the most accurate historical studies on the Napoleonic era, and they are playable. Your online and email feedback are a big part of our success. YOU CAN HELP OSG: We are looking for a few angels to provide loans to help with a printing bill due on February 23rd, and another large production bill due on March 15th.
