This is our first issue of the OSG enews since June. If you wish to cancel, please go to http://www.Napoleongames.com and delete your email address from your customer profile. You all have been more than patient with the delay of Sun of Austerlitz. Many of you have expressed the idea that you'd rather have us take all the time we need to get things right. Even though I'd like to blame our map artist, Joe Youst, for all the delays, I have continued to do research during this time, and I know that the game is better for it. So apparently the game will come out when it is ready! Joe overcommitted himself with too much map work, but we put up with this because he is the best there is. I just hope he gets his scheduling together better in the future! We had originally scheduled to have the map by July 4th. We finally received the completed and corrected map art on November 3rd. The current version of the Sun components are available at http://www.napoleongames.com/soarelease/ Guillaume Bertrand has finished the new hex map (prototype) for Napoleon's game, and he has created a new site for the Napoleon's Game prototype at http://www.geocities.com/billgber/ Rules for La Guerre de l'Empereur for download, Vers. 2.16 For the latest, complete and up to date, 2nd Edition rules for La Guerre, follow this link http://www.napoleongames.com/games/lge216.pdf Enjoy!
