Rules Changes

Highway to the Kremlin
Bonaparte in Italy

by Kevin Zucker

Highway to the Kremlin (Standard)

We have made a change in the repulse rules, specifically in the change, effective with Highway, allowing a Repulse to be initiated during the Forced March Phase. Here it is:

[130.] (change) During the Movement Phase, Pursuit, _or_ Forced March, a Force may attempt to repulse an enemy force in its path. (If during a _Forced March_, the Force must pay _one additional MP_ to make the repulse attempt.)

[131.] (change) In a failed Repulse during the Forced March Phase the force in motion _loses one SP_, gets no specific information about the enemy and its Force March ends immediately. The attempting force must stop moving, remaining adjacent to the enemy but not in EZOC. No In-ZOC marker would be placed and there will be no follow-on combat with this force.)

Bonaparte in Italy (Exclusive)

[159.] delete last sentence in this paragraph. We already have a F.M. penalty - the attrition die roll modifier. This rule would make a double penalty for Forced March!

Note: We are happy to announce that Bonaparte in Italy was nominated for Gamers' Choice Awards!
