Letters to the Editor

From: Paul Kallio

I have recently (and very happily) acquired your three most recent games in this series, The Last Days of the Grande Armee, Napoleon in Italy and Highway to the Kremlin.

The meticulous attention to detail and aesthetic quality of these games is truly impressive, and I anxiously await forthcoming titles.

From: "Carlos Fuentes"

Well, this last weekend my wife and I traveled to La Albuera battlefield and enjoyed there: the battlefield is near pristine condition and almost all terrain features are perfectly observable today. The Major is ready to show you all remarkable events of the Batlle of Albuera (probably the bloodiest battle in the Peninsula War).

Next, we traveled to Portugal and visited the Elvas fortress (in perfect state) and rested in Lisboa (a big city today) and Sintra (the village where Wellington and Junot signed "the Sintra Peace;" a beautiful village).

Now, when I see these mountains and roads of Spain and Portugal I think in your system game point of view !!! (This mountain pass is unreachable by troops, this river is fordable, this terrain is or not forageable...). Well, I suppose we re-discover the world every day...
