Frederic Bey My review of Bonaparte in Italy has been published in VV36. I hope you will like it. Tom Alaerts Subject: Napoleon's Game I feel that this design REALLY needs more exposure. I am quite sure it will become a best seller: everybody's into card-driven games these days and many people are fascinated by Napoleon. No reason why it shouldn't become a new Paths of Glory-like hit. I suggest you send an article, with a designer interview and some more explanations of the game flow to consimworld for publication between their 'news' items. Also stress on the napoleonicgames page that the map you see is a playtest map. This may seem obvious but I once recommended in the newsgroup rec.games.board to preorder the game and some less enlightened people answered: "yes but it sure is an ugly map." PS. a few weeks ago I played your '6 Days of Glory' design (French Tilsit edition). It was a lot of fun, and the Barber map is maybe the best one I've ever seen (even the paper 'feels' authentic). Anders Fager We in The Gamers' NBS Team have put up a complete new game on our website, free for all to download. It is a small scenario of Victor and Blake's fight at Espinosa in October 1808, a subject never before covered, we think. For those who have never tried our system this is a great chance to try as series rules, tables and all can be downloaded from the same place.
