Regretfully, I have to announce I will miss the Origins convention for the first time in several years. Planning for the Napoleonic Tour is not complete, and the tour begins in just 12 days! In past years, the tour has fallen several weeks later ... I had intended to spend the entire weekend playing Bonaparte in Italy. An Experiment that flopped: As of July 3rd we stopped posting daily installments from "The Habit of Victory" at NapoleonGames.com. No one wrote in to complain, so presumably there was no loss. The book will appear in print as soon as we find a publisher ... www.Gamers.Com is building a directory of all wargames ever published, with a capsule review, designer and publication information. Eventually there will be 2,000 games listed there. If you are considering purchasing a game this is a good place to go for information. In addition there is a discussion area for board wargames in the "unplugged" area. Check it out! Apologies one and all that I promised to see at Origins! I will be in Europe conducting two different Napoleonic Tours between July 24th and August 12th.
