Editorial

by Kevin Zucker

I am happy to report that the Bonaparte in Italy counters were finally printed; no chance to have counters at Cold Wars (except press-sheets).

Counters have the longest production cycle, since they must be not only printed, but laminated (sheets glued front & back to cardboard ...in Missouri!), then back to Pennsylvania and die-cut.

Here is the approximate schedule, but who knows?

    Counters print: March 3.
    Warehouse / Ship: March 6
    Arrive at Laminators: March 9
    Waiting on floor: March 10
    Laminating: March 13
    Drying: March 14-15
    Arrive at die-cutter: March 22
    Waiting on floor: March 23
    Die-cutting: March 24

According to that scenario the games will be assembled on Saturday, 25 March 2000. Charlie, Ed & anyone else who'd care to show up, I'll see you there for assembly ... ?

As a result of delays we have extended the $36 pre-publication offer on Bonaparte in Italy through 24 March (see page five).
