Web News

by Kevin Zucker

napoleongames.com

Starting on February 1st, each day NapoleonGames.com will feature a selection from Kevin Zucker's 700-page history of the Polish Campaign of 1807, "The Habit of Victory." Since the book is written in "diary" format, each day's installment will (for the most part) unroll in real time. Each installment will be taken down after one additional day, meaning you'll be able to read the entire book if you check in often!

Take a look at NapoleonGames.com. We are about half-way there (the bulletin boards and the store are not in place yet). There are, however, a number of Campaign Histories available now.

THANK YOU WEBPAGE CONTRIBUTORS!

Steve Carey, Robert Ryan, Robin Coutts, Guillaume Bertrand, Mario Vallee, Guillaume Daudin, Søren Fisker, James Jones, and anonymous donor. The postcards have come in and they really do justice to Chris Moeller's original painting (on the box it came out a bit darker ... ) We are still waiting for the patches.

CONVENTION SURVEY FROM KRANZ

John Kranz has announced that ConsimWorld.com is committed to launching an annual gaming event in October 2000: MonsterGame.com, to be held in a hotel in Las Vegas, NV.

"Proposed Four Day Event (Wed. evening Welcome Reception, adjourn Sunday early afternoon). Each participant may elect a single game as a participant (remember, these are monster games, folks). Ownership of game is not required."

This is good news, since Napoleon at Bay and its cousins are too big for regular convention tournaments. With your help, we may be able to get some of them into consideration. Please go to the following url and vote for NAB or the game of your choice!

Speaking of convention tournaments, look for the 'Last Days of the Grande Armee' tournament this summer at Origins.
