Bibliography:

Kershaw, Robert. It Never Snows In September. Shepperton: Ian Allan Publishing Ltd. 1994.
Unique book in that it tells the story of Market-Garden solely from the German side while not being pro-German. Rather, the book describes how decimated the Germans were at the start of the Operation and how they succeeded in stemming the Allied drive.

Mangry, Karel. Operation Market Garden: Then & Now Vols I & 2. London: After the Battle. 1992.

As with the other Then & Now series, these volumes are immeasurable in terms of research and fascination. This is more of a picture book than anything else, having side-byside comparisons of contemporary photographs with photos taken from the same or similar camera angle today. Most of the text is in the photo captions but there are chapters that describe the action as well.

Saunders, Tim. Hell's Highway: US 101st Airbome & Guards Armoured Division. Barnsley: Pen and Swords, Ltd. 2001.

Saunders, Tim. The Island: Nijmegen to Arnhem. Barnsley: Pen and Swords, Ltd. 2002.

Saunders, Tim. Nijmegen: US 82nd Airborne Divisi . on. Barnsley: Pen and Swords, Ltd. 2001.

Steer, Frank. Arnhem: Landing Grounds and Oosterbeek. Barnsley: Pen and Swords, Ltd. 2002.

These books belong to the Battleground Europe: Market- Garden series. Much of the information presented is not new compared to other sources, but does provide some detailed maps and personal accounts.

Battalion Organization of World War

A very detailed website providing official battalion organizations for many nations. The author also provides much insight into how these battalions were logically composed and equipped and how it may have affected their performance in battle.

Panzergrenadier.

This website is related to all things panzer-related. The link above discusses the late-1 944 Panzer Brigade type of which the 107th Panzer Brigade was patterned after.

The Battle of Arnhem Archive.

A dedicated website not just to Arnhem, but to Operation Market-Garden, unlike the website's name implies. The link points to the Order of Battle page which is quite thorough and I suspect is drawn from the same sources I used.

Feldgrau.com.

For all things German in post-WWI to WWII, this is the website to use. Given the breadth of information is needs to cover, there are still many areas which are not fully completed.

Axis History Factbook.

Similar to feldgrau.com in its depth of coverage of Axis forces but the link above provides an extremely detailed account of the lifespan of the 107th Panzer Brigade.
