Each Entry has the Date of LAST Revision: 1-09 April's Harvest (23 Aug 95) 1. The first turn for scenarios 5.1 and 5.4 is 5:30 am, not 6:30 am. 2. Union Alert actually happens during the Union Command Phase, not at the beginning of the listed turn (which would be in the Confederate Player Turn). 3. The Order of Arrival states the optional vD Corps arrives at 8:00am, the rules about the vD Corps state they set up on the map in any scenario starting at 6:30am. The Order of Arrival is correct; they enter as reinforcements. 4. The Indian Mounds in hex 27.07 block LOS. 5. The counter for 1-6 has an incorrect strength on its back- it should be an AB as stated on the Loss Charts. 6. Any hex which has at least one complete tree in it is considered to be a forest hex-the 50% rule is not used in this game. LOS is blocked by such hexes if the LOS either actually hits a tree or passes between two trees at or within 1/4 inch of each other. 7. The Confederate player turn is first in all scenarios. 8. IMPORTANT: The Confederate army cannot use Column or Mounted formations until 8:30 am on the first day. While artillery can use Limbered formation, gun units cannot move into hexes which have not yet been traversed by infantry or cavalry before 8:30 am. 2-05 GD'40 (Before 6 Dec 94, but the full listing has not appeared in Ops yet; see also Ops 15) 1. The Air Tables (on the Player's Aid) use one die-not two as the rules text indicates. 2. One of the platoons in 1-1205 R.I. has only a "6" on the back. It should have the same "AA6" as all the other infantry platoons in the game. 3. The Heavy Infantry Guns (105mm) should be 150mm. The values on the counters are correct, only the caliber is wrong. 4. The French 67 R.I. regimental weapons come on with the 1st Bn, 67 R.I. 5. The French cannot have On-Call missions set up before play begins. 6. The Reinforced Defense Availability Table entry for the 4- 11-8 Pz Company should be 0900, not 0700. This entry is for the return of this unit after its withdrawal. 7. The 16th BCP should arrive in area SW (as in Table 3.6, the Arrival Chart on the back of the rules is wrong). 2-07 Black Wednesday (1 Oct 95) 1. The Order of Battle and Counter Manifest incorectly lists 3x MG Companies as part of the 72 Rifle Division's Divisional troops- there are no such units and the listing is in error. 2. One T-26 of 2RB has a movement allowance on its counter of 30, it shopuld be a 15 like all the others. 3. In Scenario 3, all the 72nd Rifle Div Divisional Troops are available for entry on or after 0600, along with the first two regiments of infantry. 4. (clarification) Wire breach markers are not directional; all hexsides of a fully breached wire hex are passable as open terrain. 4-03 Tunisia (1 Oct 95) 1. The Charcoal trucks pay 2 MPs to load and unload Oust like wagons). 2. Any large stacks created by reinforcement arrival while mud conditions restrict movement are off limits to barrage attack until after the player has had the chance to break up such artificial stacks in his first player turn after the mud effect end. 3. (clarification) Rule 3.5a is correct; the 8th Army arrives with 6 SPs (+ those on organic trucks) on its turn of entry. The 3 SPs listed in the Order of Arrival on p. 21 are in addition to the 3 SPs the 8th Army receives every turn according to 3.5b. 5-04 Yom Kippur (7 Aug 95) 1. The Egyptian Bridges cannot be set up emplaced unless the scenario specifically calls for them to be set up that way. In other words, the campaign scenarios never begin with the Egyptian Engineers already on their Bridge sides. 2. Reshef Arm A should not appear as a reinforcment in scenario 4.4-it begins play on the map. NBS Series (ver 2.0) (1 Nov 95) 1. The "Mixed Fire Modifiers" Chart referred to in 24.0 actually is a reference to the Regular Fires Chart. 2. In the Cavalry Charge Sequence, the branching at the end of step F is incorrect. If the defender does not retreat, the sequence should drop to step G, not jump to 1. 3. In 15.1c, the fires generated should occur before OR after the formation change-whichever is worse for the defender. The attacker makes the choice. 4. 24.2 is in error-cavalry recalled during a charge attempt (even an intended feint) does indeed become blown. 5. There is no Morale modifier for being stacked with artillery-the designer's notes reference an earlier rule that was dropped in that regard. (What does he know about it anyway?) 6. At the end of 25.3c change "they must share the morale states of any units which retreat through them" to "they must share the morale states of any units which end up stacked with them." 7. Rule 23.1 is correct and the example following 23.1o is incorrect regarding multiple close combats. A phasing unit can conduct no more than one Close Combat per phase. 8. Delete "& cavalry" from the second paragraph of rule 10.4. Cavalry never suffers straggler losses-to include any normally required during emergency corps retreats.
