Ok, so in my never-ending quest to gain total control of NOVAG, I have stolen Ed Stewart's place here and am going to write up something in his place. And don't think Ed is dead or something, because I saw him at Cold Wars, and he was very much alive! I take no responsibility for any accidents that might befall him... Speaking of Cold Wars, if you were there, you know what a fine event it was. The move of the dealers to the "Tennis Barn" was a good call. Especially now that they have installed better lighting, carpeting, and better ventilation. The games looked pretty good, with many people commenting on the overall improvement in the average game's appearance. There were not as many "premiere" games going on, but many of the smaller ones had good-looking terrain, well-painted figures, and had an overall fine visual impact. But isn't that what miniature games are all about? On the NOVAG Home Front, as you are (or should be) aware, GAMECON 12 is just a few days away. I (and I think President Ed joins me in this) hope that all of you come by for at least a little while. I think that we, have a good assortment of games, and we should have a few of our sponsoring stores, other local vendors, and some flea-market tables there too. If you have some gaming things you are looking to unload, we should still have a few tables available at the door for only $20 for the day. A listing of events is included as a large portion of this newsletter so you can know what's going on. Good gaming to everyone....
