Newsletter Moves

By Bob & Cleo Liebl

It may have been a mistake to have me elected to the NOVAG BoD. I used to just be a writer, but now you've made me responsible. Fie! The BoD put me in the Treasurer's position, hoping I wouldn't hurt anything. The first thing I noticed was the cost of mailing the Newsletter. In consequence, I'm mailing out this smaller newsletter--only 24 pages--and I'm putting together a giant newsletter, which will be handed out at our coming convention on 4/5. Those who don't attend will have it mailed to them, but I figure we can save some money this way. Anyway, everybody should be glad to get out and attend our NOVAG Con after having been cooped up inside by all of this infernal snow.

It also seems that the quality of our Newsletter has attracted MAGWEB, so our newsletter will now be on MAGWEG, with the result that it will be making money for us. Hurrah!

The closing date for contributions for the Spring Newsletter is the Ides of March (that should be warning enough for those of you seeking higher office)--which is March 15 for those not in the know.

I certainly hope that those of you who are putting on NOVAG games at Cold Wars or our own Convention in April have sent them in to Roxanne Patton.

Join the army, meet interesting people, and kill them.
